Training at the Marl Chemical Park

Training is an investment in the future! Both for the graduates and for the companies ensuring new generations of young, well-trained professionals.

There is a long tradition of vocational training at the Marl Chemical Park. In approximately 80 years more than 17,000 young people have successfully completed their apprenticeships here.

The Marl Chemical Park offers students a large number of industrial trades in natural sciences, engineering, and administration, with options for every field of interest and every level of education.

In a number of professions, particularly motivated candidates who have completed a high-school program meeting the general requirements for college admission also have the option of pursuing their traineeship and their degree at one of the partner universities at the same time.

In addition to imparting skills and expertise to young people, we attach great importance to encouraging them at an individual level in training programs at the Marl Chemical Park. Depending on the apprenticeship program, additional qualification opportunities are offered: electrician for specified activities, computer driving license, English courses, business etiquette, etc.

In 2012, Ausbildung im Chemiepark Marl (Training at the Marl Chemical Park) became the first company in the chemical industry to be certified in accordance with DIN ISO 29990 (Learning services for non-formal education and training).
